Job description

Planning and allocation Lead will coordinate, monitor and plan field service activities for organization based on the requirements from the Project Delivery Team. Additional responsibilities include, among others, monitoring quality of the delivered work, billing verification and finalization. Additionally the role includes coordinating the work of planning team members as well as being a front end to the customer and senior management

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating, planning and scheduling site activities for new network installations, changes and decommissioning activities
  • Scheduling field forces based on the Service Delivery team’s requirements
  • Ensuring fields services are effective and quality standards requirements are met based on reviews and feedback delivered by the CDE team
  • Building trusted relationship with Service Organization
  • Ensuring proper billing of the work executed by the service organization
  • Providing real time work progress reports and updating inventory systems
  • Coordinating smooth documentation exchange between service organization and internal teams
  • Acting as a single point of contact and escalation for service organization issues
  • Ensuring efficient communication regarding to the executed activities
  • Outlining quality issues and proposing improvements of service organization performance with the support of Project Leaders and Engineers
  • Recommending and introducing productivity and process enhancements, including system improvements, if identified
  • Coordinating, organizing and leading team meetings
  • Preparing reports and budget, assisting in resource planning for the team
  • Contacting and fostering customer relationship
  • Providing inputs to the PMO Reporting team
  • Supporting other Project Manager’s and Senior Management’s ad hoc requests


    • Preferably a degree level in an engineering discipline (Quality, Engineering, Computer Science, IT)
    • At least 2 years experience in IT / Telecommunications industry
    • An industry-related proven record of successful customer service, third party management or project management would be an asset
    • Must be capable of prioritizing, coordinating, and scheduling multiple resources activities and resources
    • Ability to collect inputs from numerous parties with strict attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, strong organization and time management skills
    • Knowledge in multiple facets of business including but not limited to governance, financials, and on-going change
    • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate freely within multinational team
    • Ability to execute high quality service from the service organization
    • Ability to negotiate and moderate discussions
    • Willingness to travel
    • Language competence: English (capable to negotiate technically and commercially verbally and in writing)        
    • PC: Advanced user of Microsoft Office package
