The team you’ll be part of

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
In NSDC Poland global delivery team we serve to Nokia customer remote provisioning, configuration, design and troubleshooting of Data and Transmission Network Elements.

What you will learn and contribute to

We are looking for person who is able to perform consistently high level under pressure with good analytical skills.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Plan, organise and track network deployment and migration activities
  • Prepare project delivery plans
  • Allocate workload, tasks and priorities as needed across delivery team and act as back-up if required
  • Verify the results of the activities performed within the delivery team
  • Track the progress against a baseline plan and, when a problem can impact the commitments made with a customer, report alerts to the project organization
  • Report work progress to the customer and outlining design and network change dependencies
  • Manage risk and issues that might affect project delivery against the plan
  • Ensure efficient communication regarding to the executed activities
  • Provide inputs to the PMO Reporting and delivering project’s high-level status
  • First level escalation for service delivery issues
  • Directly manage people within the project team, mentoring and coaching of the subordinate team
  • Provide team members’ performance assessment and development needs
  • Plan with the team holidays, workload and preparing resource plans for the subordinate teams
  • Manage customer relationship in the scope of project execution
  • Support PMO Finance in the area of billing and payment
  • Support Senior Management with relevant requests

Your skills and experience

  • Preferably a degree level in an engineering discipline (Quality, Engineering, Computer Science, IT)
  • At least 4-year experience in IT / Telecommunications industry
  • 1 year of industry related proven record of successful project implementation
  • Proven knowledge of and strong understanding of project management tools and methodology
  • Data driven and possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in data clarity/accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a multicultural and cross functional team environment
  • Communicative and open personality
  • Action oriented, decision making
  • Able to defuse difficult customers and work under pressure
  • Ability to negotiate and moderate discussions
  • Language competence: English (capable to negotiate technically and commercially verbally and in writing)
  • PC: Advanced user of Microsoft Office package
