The team you’ll be part of

8925 Integrated Service Assurance (ISA) is a fault management and integrated service assurance system that collects and integrates fault, alarm, and performance data from network elements, EMS, OSS and provides an end-to-end view of the health, performance, and quality conditions of the network and services. ISA supports multi-domain networks, including IP, IMS, ATM/FR, DSL, transport, switching, signaling and other network technologies.

What you will learn and contribute to

ISA team is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive software engineer to join dynamic and collaborative team. Main responsibilities related to this position includes designing and developing new features, addressing internally and externally found defects, preparing and executing test cases and collaborating with colleagues across the team to deliver on challenging commitments.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • University degree in Engineering, ideally in Computer Science or Telecommunication
  • Good command of English in speaking and writing
  • Good programming skills in C/C++ or Java
  • Good knowledge of Linux and shell scripting

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Good understanding of network protocols
  • Proactive approach and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to develop and acquire new knowledge
  • Team spirit and readiness to work in an international environment
  • Knowledge of object oriented programming, and scripting languages like Perl/Python/Shell script
  • Database/SQL knowledge (MySQL/Oracle)
  • Experience with source control systems: ClearCase, SVN
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
