Position: System Integration & Testing – Summer Trainee
Duration: 3 months
Location: Poland, Bydgoszcz
Date: 1.07.2025 – 30.09.2025
Education Recommendations: Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As part of the team, you will:
- Work with the mentor, the R&D and delivery teams
- Maintain documentation in English
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Linux, Virtualization, and Networking
- Perform Installation, Integration, Configuration, Verification, and Testing of automated solutions in the AWS Public Cloud and Nokia lab environment
- Gain general knowledge of Fixed Network solutions and services, BroadBand Network, different PONs (Passive Optical Network) types implementation, Network Management Software Solutions
- Gain experience with the ONT Easy Start solution that highly automates the activation of subscriber service in a GPON/XGSPON network.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You should have:
- Active student status (for at least one year)
- Linux environment knowledge
- Understanding of scripting (i.e. Shell, Ansible, Python, Robot Framework)
- Understanding of container runtimes (i.e., Docker) and containerized application (K8s, OpenShift, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Good English, both spoken and written
- Ready to work full-time during the summertime
- Understanding of scripting
- Pro-activeness and team-player attitude
