Project Management Support – Summer Trainee

Embark on a unique journey with Nokia as a Summer Trainee in Project Management Support. This paid internship offers an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of IT and Telecom, providing an immersive experience in project operations and the impact of technology. Over three months, you’ll support the Project Management Office, gaining insights into project execution, data quality, and the maintenance of internal tools. This role goes beyond administrative tasks; it’s about understanding the intricate collaboration between teams like Order Management, Financial Controlling, and more. By the end, you’ll have a well-rounded understanding of project management and its business implications.

Location: Poland, Bydgoszcz

Your responsibilities

Support the creation and update of project structures, ensuring efficient organization and accessibility of project-related information.
Analyze and interpret project data and reports to inform strategic decision-making.
Organize and maintain accurate documentation for effective project management.
Assist Project Managers with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth project execution.
Participate in the maintenance and improvement of tools like FLIS, OPERA, and local web pages.
Support data analysis and simple automations to enhance data-driven decision-making.
Work on testing, fixing, and improving business-supporting solutions for reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project delivery dynamics and interdependencies.

Your skills and experience

Must-Have:

Active student status
Good English, both spoken and written
Willingness to work full-time during the summertime
Intermediate knowledge of C# .NET, JavaScript / TypeScript, CSS, SQL, Shell / Bash
Familiarity with SQL Server MI (Azure), Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code, SharePoint, Power Automate or GitLab

Nice-to-have:

Interest in process automation
Motivation to work at the intersection of business and technology
Interest in data analysis and tool development
Interest in AI and active use of AI-based solutions in learning, projects or daily work
