Software Developer / Test Automation Developer (SBC) – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. As a Working Student – Software Developer/Test Automation Developer you will become a part of Nokia Software Team. Our Working Students are involved in challenging projects, which enable them to use their technical skills, gain great experience by learning our innovative solutions and acquiring new programming skills.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a Working Student in the Cloud and Network Services team you will:

• Create automated test scripts
• Create SDK modules
• Create tools
• Develop & maintain test environment
• Learn problem troubleshooting & defect management
• Maintain documentation in English
• Work with languages: Python, C/C++, Java, Scripting (Shell, Bash)
• Work operating systems: Linux
• Get familiar with methodologies: DevOps, Agile

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Your have:

• Active student status student  (for at least one year) in IT or related field
• Good English (both written and spoken)
• Openness to work in the international environment
• Knowledge of automation tools and testing frameworks
• Familiarity of Linux environment (including ksh, bash)
• Programming skills (e.g. Python)
• Object programming knowledge
• Team player spirit
• Willingness to expand knowledge
